Peanut Butter Chex + recipe

When I found out about the NEW Peanut Butter Chex cereal, I had to jump on making the perfect summer snack.

Our family is such a fan of regular Chex Mix recipes already, I knew we had to do something great!
With a plethora of Chex mix recipes out there, we found the PERFECT one with the Double Peanut Butter Muddy Buddies!

The Chex recipe is so easy and quite delicious. It took no time at all and was definitely a fan favorite.
So head over to your local Walmart, stock up on Peanut Butter Chex and grab the following delicious ingredients to make your Double Peanut Butter Muddy Buddies recipe!
—-Ingredient List

  • 5 cups Peanut Butter Chex™ cereal 
  • 4 cups Chocolate Chex™ cereal 
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter 
  • 1/4 cup butter 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla 
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar 

Preparation

  1. In large bowl, add cereals; set aside.
  2. In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
  3. Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container.

    I love the recipes that Chex provides on their cereal boxes! So simple and so delicious and great because they are gluten free!

    My doctor just put me on a gluten-free forever diet and I thought it was going to be difficult. But if I can find this cereal, it won’t be so bad, and your recipe makes it even better.
