To my Dearest Second Child,
I’m sorry I didn’t keep up to date on the latest baby apps or click ‘share’ on your ‘fruit growth’ each week. I am sorry I didn’t browse the mama boards daily and research every ache and pain. I am sorry that you will have lots of hand me downs and not always the newest things.
What I can tell you is that I’ve prepped your big brother for all his upcoming duties. Not only will you have the love of me and daddy but the love of your built in best friend. He will always protect you and teach you the coolest things – Like how to annoy mommy into giving in to everything (he’s really good at it!).
As you grow older, I want you to know – that you truly are a tiny gift from above. Our little family prayed for you to join us and we’re excited to know you are on your way. My wish for you is to grow up happy as can be. Be the best version of YOU and go for all your goals and dreams.
