Sunshine and Jetts

Allow me to re-introduce myself.

I’ve been toying with the idea of changing my online identity for a while now. Today I woke up and just did it. Didn’t think twice. It just felt right. It may be insignificant to most (really everyone), but to me it was such a big deal. I’ve been HeartHappy_Mom for so long, it became a part of who I am.  But, I knew it was time for a change.  Plus, I wanted a name to be more fitting (because abstract is cool lol), in a less obvious way – thus Sunshine and Jetts (S&J) was born!

Why the cool name “Sunshine and Jetts” you ask?

Wellll….. The nickname Sunshine was given to my oldest-little by my grandfather. After he was born, my grandpa said that ‘he’ (oldest-little) brought so much light into our family. With all of us grandkids being older, life was kind a gray and everyone was going through the motions.  We all were busy working and going to school – being independent of each other. Once Sunshine was born, he truly shinned light into our family. He reconnected us once again.  Reintroduced the magic and wonder of childhood.  He truly brought us all together again. (I’m not crying, you’re crying!)

The Jett part is a little less emotional. It’s our littlest-littles middle name (a rather cool one I might add). His nickname is smiley boy, but Sunshine and Smiley boy didn’t seem as cool.

So, I am now Sunshine and Jetts and extremely pleased to meet you.  Pretty much decided I cannot have any more kids, because Twitter already cut off the ‘S’ in my username. LOL
