Pinterest Birthday’s and FREE treats

My littlest little turned ONE a few days ago.  For my mama bears out there, I know you can agree that time surely fly’s by!  Didn’t I just have you yesterday?! Now you’re a crawling, Mickey Mouse Loving, ‘Smiley boy’ (brothers nickname to him!). To celebrate this big milestone, we celebrated with a ‘First Fiesta’ party!!

In the beginning, I truly felt anything that could go wrong, did.  Our ‘UNO’ balloons popped, the food was scheduled for a different day, the linens arrived late – and with the lack of sleep from last minute decoration making, literally had me in tears (I need to quit being the Pinterest Mom wannabe and stick to Amazon Prime mom! LOL).  Luckily, I had the support of my husband and BFF to assure me everything would be fine.  Guess what – it absolutely was perfect.  I put too much pressure on the image I had when he was 3 months old I didn’t let go and let live.  Once I got over the hype in my own head – I focused on what was most important – our family and friends w ho came to celebrate the birth of this amazing little boy!

So, for my first-time mama’s out there planning the picture perfect 1^st birthday (I sound like it’s a wedding HAHA) – just breath and let be!  Everything will be fine and the most important thing is celebrating with the ones you love.  Plus, if you’re anything like me, we decided to forgo the 5^th birthday party of my oldest little and we’re taking a mini family trip to Legoland instead (Shhh, it’s a secret!). Same cost, less headache!
